This October, the Freidenrich Community Center becomes a whimsical wizarding world, transformed by the imagination of Engaging Math Circles (EMC) into a realm of enchanted puzzles, hidden secrets, and math-infused magic.

Step into the story as newly admitted wizard students on your first day of school. But before your magical training can begin, your team must work together to solve clever challenges, uncover clues, and unlock your official class schedule—one riddle at a time.

Think outdoor escape room meets interactive math adventure—a hands-on, story-driven quest where curiosity, collaboration, and a touch of struggle lead to real discovery.

Who Should Join:
Perfect for families and friends with kids in grades K–6 (25/26 in school year). Move through the game together, helping each other to figure out clues!

Registration Details:

• Rolling Admission: Start the Quest at any time, but arrive at least 1 hour before the end time to ensure you have enough time to complete it.
• Quest Duration: Most groups complete the adventure in 1.5 to 2 hours.
• Be Ready: This is a math game—be prepared to solve, struggle, and have fun!
• Enjoy at own pace: Feel free to bring a picnic lunch or snack and take a break anytime.

About EMC Quests

Kids and their parents follow a magical storyline and embark on a mathematical adventure. Along the way, they solve math problems, tackle logic riddles, and uncover clues that guide their journey forward.

At EMC, we believe in the power of family learning and strong community connections. Our events are run through the nonprofit arm of Engaging Math Circles and are designed to foster meaningful interactions outside the classroom while equipping parents with tools to bring more math into everyday life at home.
