Engaging Math Circles

This special event is organized and run by Prospect High School students as a fundraiser supporting the senior class, in partnership with Engaging Math Circles.
By participating, you will help fund prom and graduation activities for students who might otherwise not be able to attend all while enjoying a wonderful community event.

Enter the enchanted realm of wizards, magic, and mystery, where clever thinking and a strong dose of imagination will guide your path. You’ll visit a whimsical wizard school and work together to decipher enchanted messages, crack magical codes, and solve spellbinding puzzles - each one bringing you closer to the secrets hidden in this mystical world.

About the Game

Enter the story as newly admitted wizard students on your first day of school. Before your magical training can begin, your team must solve clever challenges, uncover clues, and unlock your official class schedule, one riddle at a time.

Think outdoor escape room meets interactive math adventure: a hands-on, story-driven quest where curiosity, teamwork, and perseverance lead to real discovery.

Who Should Join

This event is designed for students in grades K-6, participating alongside their parents or guardians. Move through the game together, helping each other to figure out clues!

Registration Details

• Rolling Admission: Start the Quest at any time, but arrive at least 1 hour before the end time to ensure you have enough time to complete it.
• Quest Duration: Most groups complete the adventure in 1.5 to 2 hours.
• Be Ready: This is a math game, be prepared to solve, struggle, and have fun!
• Enjoy at own pace: Feel free to bring a picnic lunch or snack and take a break anytime.
• Cost: $25 per child. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Please reach out if cost is a concern. If you are able, consider donating to help another family participate and to bring the graduating class closer to their fundraising goal.
